Udupi, 26 Sep 2013 : At the joint aegis of the electronics and communications department of Madwa Vadiraj Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal and its ISTE student chapter; New Delhi-based Robosepians Technology, two-day workshop on Autonomous robotics with AVR micro controllers, was held here from September 21 to September 22.
Mangalore-based Rob Atonics Private Limited chief Prajwal Kumar was the chief guest of the occasion, explained the need to have knowledge about robotics and its usage. He also advised them to explore the robotics technology in inventions, advised Prajwal.
The head of electronics and communications Nagaraj Rao briefed on the two-day workshop.
Sodhe Vadiraj Education Trust chairman Ratnakumar, ISTE chapter secretary Arun Upadhyaya, workshop organizer Robosepians Technology representative Titiksh Vatsa were present on the occasion.
The first 3 students whose robot model won the top places during the workshop qualified to compete in the national robotics Championship scheduled to be held during March 2014.
