Rotary Club - Koteshwar Celebrates Vanamahotsav

Kundapur, 3 Jul 2013 : The eco-environment is preserved by nurturing plants, said Koteshwar retired professor Krishnamurti.

Professor Krishnamurti was speaking during Vanamahotsav celebrations by planting plants in Hindu crematorium, here on Monday July 1.  It was jointly organized by Rotary Club - Koteshwar and Chetana Kreeda and Kalaranga - Koteshwar.

Rotary Club president Prabhakar B Kumbashi, secretary Ravindra Shetty, Chetana Kreeda and Kalaranga president Prabhakar Shetty Moodugopady, secretary Ganesh Ithal, Rotary Club former president Nagaraj Achar Koni were present at the occasion.

The engineer Gururaj Rao welcomed the gathering.  Uday Shetty Markodu proposed vote of thanks.  Ravindra Navada compered the programme.

Prabhakar B Kumbashi and Ravindra Shetty Moodugopady were elected as president and secretary respectively of Rotary Club - Koteshwar for the yer 2013 -14.
