Konkan Railways to follow monsoon timetable from June 10

 

Mangalore, 04 Jun 2013 (TOI): Monsoon time table for trains running via Konkan route will come in to effect from June 10 and remain in force up to October 31.

 

Accordingly, train number 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangala Express will leave Ernakulam Junction at 10.45am instead of 1.05pm and the departure timings at main stations are as follow: Shoranur (1.05pm), Calicut (3.05pm); Kannur (4.55pm) and Mangalore junction (7.50pm).

 

Train numbers 16337/16338 Okha - Ernakulam bi-weekly expresses will be partially cancelled between Hapa and Okha. Train number 12620 Mangalore Central - Lokamanya Tilak Matsyagandha express will leave Mangalore Central at 12.50pm instead of 2.35pm. Train number 12134 Mangalore Junction - Mumbai CST Express will leave at 4.45pm instead of 2pm, S James, public relations officer of Southern Railways said.

 

Railway authorities have request people to contact the nearest station master for the timings of other trains running via Konkan route.
