Udupi, 13 May 2013: The government that Congress will form in Karnataka will not have the post of DyCM, said AICC chief secretary Oscar Fernandes.
Addressing the media persons here on Sunday May 11, Oscar said that Congress high command has not thought of creating the post of DyCM. The high command will decide who will become ministers in the new cabinet. There is no question of pressure in this regard, said Oscar.
All the one-hundred-twenty-one Congress MLAs are eligible for ministerial berth and aspiring to become ministers. The MLAs of coastal district also expressed their aspiration in this regard. However, the most suitable will get the chance to become ministers. Siddaramaiah will return to New Delhi to discuss the issue of forming the cabinet with the high command after the former takes oath from Governor for being the twenty-third Karnataka Chief Minister, said Oscar.
The union labour minister Mallikarjun Karge will be given most significant portfolio during the reshuffling of union cabinet, added Oscar.
