Belman, 21 Feb 2013: The Sri Brahma Kumbabhisheka and Shatha Chandi Yaga rituals along with religious and cultural programmes which started on 12 February 2013 in Palli Shrikshetra Adapady Shri Umamaheshwara, Durgaparameshwari temple came to an end on Saturday 16th February with Sri Navaka Pradhana Homa, Navaka Kalashabhisheka, Ashlesha Balidana and Maha Puja to dual deities.
From the afternoon of 16th as a service by industrialist Sveekar S. Nayak, upa couple, religious orations on “Shri Maha Vishnu Yaga” were arranged. At noon Yaga Poornahuthi, Mahamangalarathi, anna santharpane were conducted. Dharmadarshi Pundalika Nayak, Vedamurthy Mrugesh Bhat Laxmipura, Vedamurthy Dayanand Bhat Kalladka along with other 36 Vedic experts participated in the Maha Yaga religious rituals. At night there were programmes like “ranga pooje”, “Nemostsava” for the deities of different religious communities.
