Udupi, 10 Feb 2013: JDS will win a few seats in the forthcoming legislative assembly polls in coastal district, JDS national vice president MP Cheluvarayaswamy expressed hope.
Addressing media persons at the residence of JDS district president Deviprasad Shetty, after the former’s visit to Mookambika temple, Kollur along with the family, here on Thursday February 7, Cheluvarayaswamy said that statewide support has been witnessed to JDS leader the former CM Kumaraswamy. Meanwhile, BJP waves are strongly felt in Madikeri, Uttar Kannada and coastal districts. BJP-led state government has been the most corrupt that the state has ever seen and the voters in BJP’s stronghold are likely to teach a lesson in the forthcoming assembly polls. At this backdrop JDS candidate has better chances to win, said Cheluvarayaswamy.
JDS leaders Sharik Hussein, Santosh Shetty, Uday Hegde, Pradeep G, Zaheer Ahmed and Pune entrepreneur Chandrahas Shetty Yermal were present at the occasion.
