Mangalore, 08 Jan 2013: Dakshina Kannada (DK) district youth Congress will be organizing a motor-rally on Tuesday January 15, to create general awareness on the failure of BJP-led state administration in good governance, said DK district youth Congress president Mitun Rai.
Addressing the media persons at District Congress Committee (DCC) office here on Tuesday January 8 morning, Mitun Rai said that a mega rally will be held on January 15 in city, street play at B C Road, Bantwal town, walkathon at Sullia including 8 legislative assembly constituencies of Dakshina Kannada district, in order to create general awareness on failure of state administration since the past 5 years, not awarding unemployment allowance to over 1 lac youth, which was promised by BJP-led state administration and many such issues.
AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes, Mulky – Moodbidri MLA Abayachandra Jain, former MP Vinaya Kumar Sorake, and other veteran Congressmen will participate in the motor-rally that will pass through the city and culminate at the outskirts of city at Kannur on Mangalore – Bangalore national highway at 3.00pm, where a public meeting will be held.
