Education is must to compete in modern world

Udupi, 02 May 2012: Education is the important medium for everyone to compete in the modern world, hence the Mogaveera Community associations need to give prime importance to establish educational institutions, said Udupi and Dakshina Kannada District Fish Marketing Federation President Yashpal A. Suvarna.

 

 
He was speaking upon distributing the talent scholarships to the children of fisheries women on behalf of the Udupi Taluk Women Fresh Fish Seller’s Association in Association Administrative Office on Tuesday. Udupi Taluk Women Fresh Fish Seller’s Association President Baby H. Salyan spoke and said that the scholarship will be issued every year for encouraging education and also for the higher education financial assistance will be provided, she said.

 
Association Vice President Appi M. Bangera, Advisor Suresh B. Kunder, Narayana Kunder, Harish G. Karkera, Jayanti Gurudas were present on the occasion. Association Senior Advisor Ramesh Kidiyoor presented introductory note. Prakash Suvarna Katpadi compeered the program. Chief Secretary Laxmi Anand proposed vote of thanks.
