Belman, 12 April 2012: The summer camps compliment the blossoming of the creative and hidden talents of children, said Karnataka Government Balabhavana Nigam President Sulochana Bhat. She was speaking upon inaugurating the 10 day long summer camp of creative activities “Spoorthi – 2012” for children of 8 years to 14 years age group on Wednesday. The camp is jointly organized by Balabhavana Nigama, JCI Belman and Inna Grama Panchayath in Belman Sabhabhavana.
Speaking further she said that, these camps are being organized in all the Taluk Centers of Karnataka in coordination with Balabhavana Nigam and the government has allotted rupees five crores for this from the annual budget. For this camp rupees 25 thousands grant will be given from the Nigam, she said.
JCI National Trainer Rajendra Bhat in his introductory note briefed the objectives of the camp. Chief guests present on the occasion were Jilla Panchayath Member Supreet Shetty Kedinje, Entrepreneur Rocky D’Silva Santoor Kopla, Belman Grama Panchayath President Mallika Rao and Inna Grama Panchayath President Reshma Uday Shetty.
On the dias; Sanjeeva Poojary, Satish K., Sandeep Kumar were present. Sarwajna Tantri compeered the program. Dinesh Suvarna welcomed the guests and the gathering. JCI Secretary Raghunath Nayak proposed vote of thanks.
