Belman, 12 March 2012: Kannada is very rich and beautiful language. When the language is liked, interest comes in literature, if the poems are sung with lyrics the children listen to them with interest. But in the teaching care must be taken not to spoil the literature, said state award winner teacher Chandrashekar Kedlaya Brahmavara, to the teachers. He was speaking during his briefings in the Teachers Conference held in Belman St. Joseph Aided Higher Primary School hall.
The conference was held for the Public Education Department Karkala Zone Nandalike, Mundkur Cluster Teachers. Speaking further he briefed on the Kannada teaching, poems teaching, the grammar and singing with lyrics. Pervaje School Physical Teacher Anni M. spoke on the importance of physical training in the primary education, coordination of games and system of the school grounds.
In the program Belman Zone Education coordinator Shailaja Hegde, Poornima Shenoy of Karkala Zone Resource Centre, District Teachers Association Secretary Laxmikanth Bhat, Taluk Vice President Satish Shetty, Taluk Aided School Association President V.K. Rao Nandalike, School Headmistress Sr. Monica were present. Mundkur Cluster Director Nityananda welcomed. Teacher B. Pundalika Marathe conducted introduction. Punarukere School Teacher Devdas Patkar compeered the program. Teacher Vincent Pinto proposed vote of thanks.
