Congress Candidate K. Jayaprakash Hegde Files Nomination

Manipal, 28 February 2012: K. Jayaprakash Hegde Congress candidate contesting the Udupi – Chickmagalur by election submitted his nomination to the election Officer Deputy Commissioner Dr. M.T. Reju on Monday. On this occasion as per the rules of the election commission including the candidate 5 persons, AICC State In charge Madhusoodana Mistry, KPCC President Dr. Parameshwara, Central Minister M. Veerappa Moily, former Central Minister B. Janardhana Poojary were present.

 

 

 
Hegde has submitted total 4 nominations at a time. In these nomination KPCC Secretary M.A. Gafoor, Former Minister Vasantha Salyan, Vidhana Sabha Former Sabhapathi B.L. Shankar and Chickmagalur District congress President M.L. Murthy have mentioned the name of Jayaprakash Hegde.

 

 
Central Minister K.H. Muniyappa, Former Minister Vasantha Salyan, MLA’s U.T. Khader, Abhayachandra Jain, Ramanatha Rai, KPCC Udupi District In charge K.P. Nanjundi, District Congress leaders Janardhana Bhandarkar, Amrat Shenoy, Moideen Bhava, Vijayakumar Shetty and others came along with Jayaprakash Hegde to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and conveyed best wishes.

 
Speaking to reporters on this occasion Jayaprakash Hegde said that there is trend in the favour of Congress, so there is full confidence to win, he said. The failure of the BJP government in the state and in the rave party in the cultural district such as Udupi and the porn picture in Sadhana will not be forgiven by the people of Udupi – Chickmagalur. These things have the people’s opinion in my favour, who are looking for a change and they will be fulfilling it, he assured.
