Hegde has submitted total 4 nominations at a time. In these nomination KPCC Secretary M.A. Gafoor, Former Minister Vasantha Salyan, Vidhana Sabha Former Sabhapathi B.L. Shankar and Chickmagalur District congress President M.L. Murthy have mentioned the name of Jayaprakash Hegde.
