Shirva, 07 February 2012: We can never pay back to our mother, motherland and the school which has provided us the overall development and inspiration. Among all the gifts the education is the greatest one and the old students should get united and cooperate for the development of the school. Old Students are the asset of the Institution, said former minister and School Management Committee President Vasantha V. Salian.
He was speaking upon inaugurating the Padubelle Shri Narayanaguru High School Old Students Association “Annual Sports Day”. Speaking further he said that the year 2012 – 2013 is the Silver Jubilee year of the school and all the programs which will be conducted by the Old Students Association will be supported.
Chief Guests of the program include; Rotary District Former Deputy Governor B. Pundalika Marathe, School Physical Training Teacher Suresh Devadiga, Maths Teacher Panduranga Malya, Director Richard Danti, who conveyed best wishes. The program was presided over by School Headmistress Usha S. Association Director Ganesh Tantri in his introductory note briefed on the projects of the Association.
Association Vice President Pramila, Treasurer Pradeep, Cultural Secretary Santhosh Kumar, Sports Secretary Kiran Kumar, Teachers Arundhati G. Prabhu, Suresh Nayak, Durgayya, Association Former President Denzil Castelino, Physical Training Teacher Santhosh Shankarapura and Prabhakar were present in the program.
President Parthasarathi welcomed the guests and the gathering. Hon. Advisor Madhusoodana Rao compeered the program. Secretary Shrikantha Acharya proposed vote of thanks. Various sports and games were conducted in the School grounds, after the inaugural function.
