Shirva, 01 November 2011: Children need to be taught our culture at home by the mother and at school by the teachers. For a healthy living our culture and traditions are the guidelines. By conducting the camps in all places, along with the education on the new subjects the awareness of these traditions should be provided to children, said Swamini Suvedananda Saraswathi of Hubli Arshya Maha Vidyapeeta.
He was speaking upon receiving the honour in the concluding ceremony of the 6 days long “Veda Culture Educational Camp” conducted by Ohm Shakti Inc. (U.S.A.) in Shri Kshethra Bantakal Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple auditorium. Shri Temple Managing Trustee P. Vishwanantha Nayak, M. Balakrishna Nayak and Karnataka Bank Manager Vittala Wagle were the Chief Guests of the program.
The program was presided over by Ohm Shakti Inc. Founder President P.V. Prabhu. Prabhakar Nayak welcomed the guests and the gathering. Arundhati G. Prabhu read the report. Kumari Pritika Wagle and Gaurav compeered the program. In the program Yoga teacher Radhakrishna Prabhu, Malati Krishnadas and Suguna B. Nayak were present. Varadaraya V. Nayak proposed vote of thanks. 70 students participated in the camp.
