Udupi, 19 October 2011: Expressing delight over the courts working actively in the state, Pejavar Seer said that, this will help for the politicians to work carefully from now on. He was speaking to the press reporters on Monday. He said that there is no guilt of former Chief Minister is proved, he is only an accused, so court has to decide on that, until that I will not say anything, he said.
There is no need for BJP national leader Advani who is in Rathayatra in the state to be embarrassed about. Advani is not in the administration now. He himself had earlier expressed his strong displeasure on the corruption taking place in Karnataka State. So there is nothing wrong in him conducting the Rathayatra in the state, he said.
Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda has given me assurance that the clearance will not be given for commissioning the 2nd unit of the power plant of the controversial Udupi Power corporation Limited, said Shree. The committee which was formed to study the difficulties to the people and the environmental pollution, was to have a meeting with the sufferers from the power plant on 17th, but that got cancelled. The meeting has to be conducted soon and report has to be submitted to the government. I have urged the Chief Minister not to commission the unit until then and he has agreed, said Seer.
