Belman, 09 October 2011: During the childhood itself, if the children adopt patriotism, moral values and self-discipline then it will be possible for them to rise into good leaders. From the educations of Bharath Sevadala, good values in children will become alert. The self-discipline is the foundation for the good leadership, said Jilla Panchayath Member Supreeth Shetty Belman. He was speaking in his presidential address in the “Yoga and Leadership Camp 2011 – 12” concluding program in Kedinje Shri Vidyabodhini Aided Higher Primary School, held for the Karkala Taluk level School students, on Saturday.
In the 5 days long training camp, the students were trained on leadership, moral values, yoga, sports, cultural activities, saluting of the national flag, national anthem, unity and disciplined living. On behalf of the students, Shubhakar Gurukula Mala, Sneha R. Shetty Bajagoli, Shailesh Kedinje, Hithesh Bajagoli and Swastik Moodabettu expressed their experience and feelings of the camp.
In the concluding program Belman Circle Education Coordinator Shailaja Hegde, Taluk Physical Education Inspection Officer Babu Poojary, School Headmaster Anil Kumar, School Old Students Association President Ln Shivarama Acharya and Laxmikantha Rao Inna, spoke on the importance and significance of the Sevadala education.
Bharath Sevadala Udupi District Organizer Mahesh N. Pattar in his introductory note briefed on the Sevadala activities in the district level. Taluk Training Leader Shankara Nayak welcomed the guests and the gathering. Taluk Organizer Umesha Bajagoli compeered the program. Taluk Training Leader Bharathi Muniyalu read the report. Kedinje Teacher Sudhakara Rao proposed vote of thanks.
Teachers Vedavathi Hosmaru, Seetha Sadbhavananagara, Anni M. Pervaje and Vasantha Kalya were the resource persons of the camp. The camp was jointly organized by Public Education Department, Office of Zonal Education Officer Karkala, Bharath Sevadala District and Karkala Taluk Committees.
