Udupi, 23 August 2011: The Krishna Mutt’s Shri Krishna Leelothsava which is being celebrated in more and more splendour manner every year, had the glittering show this time by the world famous drummer Shivamani and along with him Kannada music director Arun. Shiruru Shree who has special interest in the modern musical instruments such as drums – key boards, succeeded in getting Shivamani on the occasion of Shri Krishnastami, so that the youngsters can dance and leap.
As per the expectation of Shree, grand stage was built in the large parking area near the Mutt. On the stage, with the tens of musical instruments Shivamani along with his team played the instruments, beat the drums, danced and made the youngsters to dance and ascended an new musical world into this earth.
Before this, even in the Krishnaleelothsava also, Shivamani and Aurn participated with the same enthusiasm and throughout the utsav, in front of the chariot of Shri Krishna, he beat the drums and gave company to the tiger dancers. Also he witnessed the sport of curd pots tied on heights. On few occasions, unable to control himself, he even joined the tiger dancers. Also gave poses to the photographers who were always behind him.
He appreciated the tiger dancers and said that, he have seen many utsavs, but never seen anyone stepping to the beats of the drums so perfectly. With the red colour T shirt and tying red colour scarf to his trade mark head, Shivamani displayed attractively in the Udupi Shri Krishna Leelothsava.
