Vasantha M. felicitated by Lions and Lioness Clubs

 
Belman, 19 August 2011: Belman Lions Club and Lioness Club felicitated Vasantha M. who has been the resource person and has contributed in the field of education in Belman Nandalike areas. Felicitation was conducted by Lions President Ramakrishna Shetty and Lioness President Gretta D’Souza.

 

 
In the felicitation program Karkala Kshethra Education Officer Ravishankar, Education coordinator Shailaja Hegde, Secretary of Teachers Association Lakshmikanth, Taluk President V.K. Rao, Nandalike cluster coordinator Karunakara Poojary and Sathish Shetty were present. 
 
 

 
Independence Day celebrated at Nandalike School

 
On the occasion of 65th Independence Day celebrations held at Nandalike Shri Mahalingeshwara Aided Higher Primary School, Nandalike Gundyadkaguthu Sachidananda Shetty unfurled the national flag. Nandalike Balachandra Roa presided over the function. Belman Lions Club President Ramakrishna Shetty inaugurated the cultural program.
 
Belman Lions Club and Lioness Club jointly organized the distribution scholarship worth rupees 15 thousands. Public education department Nandalike cluster CRP Karunakara Poojary distributed the scholarship and conveyed good wishes. Belman Grama Panchayath Member Sandip Kumar distributed the gifts.
 
Chief guests and dignitaries present on the dias were; Sandip Kanchan, Janardhana Shastri, N. Sudhakara Shetty, Grama Panchayath member Vimala Shetty, N. Suresh Rao, Rachanca Shrikanth Rao, N. Chandrashekar Rao and Sukanya V. School Headmaster V.K. Rao Nandalike welcomed the guests and the gathering. Teachers Meenakshi and Jayalakshmi compeered the program. Teacher Surekha proposed vote of thanks.
