Udupi: Baby boy found abandoned

Udupi: A newly born baby boy was found abandoned near ITI College at Chitpadi in Udupi on Wednesday. 

The locals who noticed the baby in the afternoon informed the police. Later, police, shifted the baby to a private hospital for treatment. The baby was found with marks of injury by the ants and has been shifted to ICU.

House burgled
Some unidentified miscreants gained entry into a house and decamped with gold worth Rs 3.50 lakh at Hoode Paduthonse in Udupi. The house belongs to Abdul Khader. The incident occurred when nobody was at home.
