K. R. Patkar is New Rotary Deputy Governer

Shirva, 04 July 2011: Former Rotary President and Social activist K. R. Parkar has been appointed as Zone 3 Deputy Governer of Rotary International District 318 of 2011-12, by District Governer H. L. Ravi Shivamoga. He will be overseeing the activities of Bajpe, Mulki, Padubidri, Kaup, Katapadi, Manipura, Shankarapura, Shirva, Nitte and Karkala Rotary Clubs.

 
Patkar is also the former Vice President of Shirva Grama Panchayath and Bantakal Anganavadi. Presently he is the Parents – Teacher Association President of  Shankarapura St. John Academic Education Society. He is also the former member of the Management Trust of Bantakal Shri Durga Parameshwari Temple and has served as the office bearer of Rajapura Saraswatha Yuva Vranda.
