Kaup Rural areas get LED Street Light

Kaup,12 June 2011: In Kaup Vidhana Sabha constituency rural areas shall be installed with the modern LED street lights, which will be the first of its kind in South India said, Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon. He was speaking upon distributing the LED street lights in Kaup MLA’s Office to various Grama Panchayaths of Kaup Vidhana Sabha Kshethra which were allotted by the state government under MLA’s grant of rupees 4 lakhs for the rural areas.

 
In western countries LED lights are being used compulsorily, and in cities such as Bangalore like the high mast lights, the environmental friendly LED lights have also become enough popular. Shrikanth Dadal – Chief of Bangalore Guha Techno Inc. spoke on the occasion and said that, the LED lights have been manufactured with a latest technology to suit coastal weather, which will last up to 5 years.
 
Taluk Panchayath members; Shambhavi Kulal, Kesari M., Guruji Vishwanath Bhat, Mathaji Ushashree Vishwanath Bhat, Kaup Grama Panchayath President Yogish Rai, Uchila Grama Panchayath President Chandrashekar Kotyan, Grama Panchayath members; Yogish Mattu, Nagesh Bandary, Sudhama Shetty, Devaraj Shetty and others were present on the occasion.
