Manipal, 06 June 2011: A motor bike was stolen near Shimra Ganapathi Temple, in Shivalli Grama, Manipal on Sunday. Martin a resident of Perampalli, parked his bike Bajaj Pulser (K. A. 20 X-2286) in the afternoon at 2.00 pm and went to Boat Club. At around 3.30 pm when he returned, the bike was missing. The value of this stolen bike is estimated to about Rs. 45,000, as per the complain registered by Martin at Manipal Police Station.
Kollur, 06 June 2011: A resident of Jappu Jappal, Mangalore gone missing near Mukambika Temple, Kollur. The residents of 3rd cross, Jappu Jappal, Mohandas, his wife Shivapalini and their daughter Anupa had come to Kollur and stayed overnight. Next morning they went to Kodachadri hills and after returning at 3.30 while they were coming around the Temple premises, Mohanadas is gone missing.
He had the addiction of alcohol and he used to keep to himself without talking to anyone. He is retired from Railway Department and sometimes used to behave like mentally sick. At the time of missing he was wearing blue coloured pants and ash coloured shirt, he is familiar with Tulu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Shivapalini in her complain mentioned that they searched for him everywhere but could not be found anywhere, a case has been registered in Kollur Police Station.
Gangolli, 06 June 2011: A youth has committed suicide by hanging himself in Kasaba Grama, Gangolli. Rathnakara (30) son of Ramayya Serigar a resident of this place, had extreme addiction of alcohol and having financial losses. Therefore he got disgusted in his life and on Saturday he came home drunk, latched the front door, after everyone were slept he killed himself. As per the complain given by his father Ramayya Sherigar, unnatural death has been registered at Gangolli Police Station.
