Katapadi, 28 May 2011: New knowledge committee consisting of experts from various fields has been formed for the development of the education system in the state, said Higher Education Minister Dr. V.S. Acharya. He participated in the Pattabhisheka celebrations of Saraswathi Peetadhipathi Shri Kalahasthendra of Shrimad Anegundi Sansthana on Friday evening and was felicitated by Shree at Shree Mutt on the occasion.
Dr. Acharya said that, government has granted 6 crores rupees for the Gurukula type of education in sculptures for Vishwakarma communities through sculpture academy. Also government has granted 1 crore rupees to the Temple and remaining 2 crores will be provided soon. On this occasion Swameeji appealed for providing holiday on Vishwakarma Mahothsawa day and to provide grants for the development of Nakre Technical Education Society.
