BANGALORE: The Bangalore police have arrested Lakshman Reddy (32), who was allegedly involved in the murder of his two children in a village in Kolar on March 14.
The police said Reddy was told by an astrologer that he needed to sacrifice his two children to become rich.
Reddy took Narasimhamurthy (6) and Nandini (3)to a hut and severed their necks.
He abandoned the bodies in a grove at Shyanabhogarahalli.
Lakshman Reddy’s wife Gayatri filed a complaint against her husband for kidnapping the two children.
The Kolar Rural police recovered the bodies on March 14.
The Byappanahalli police in Bangalore arrested Lakshman Reddy on Thursday. The police have found that Reddy had made a similar sacrifice two years ago of his one-year-old son.
