Edmerda Javaner Organize Cricket Tournament for Medical Aid to Needy Persons

Udupi/M’Belle, 13 Apr 2021: Edmerda Javaner, Edmeru, Moodubelle organized Cricket Tournament Dhoomavati Trophy-2021 on Sunday, 11 April at the ground near Sarala Dhoomavati temple to financially help needy persons.

 

MLA of the Kaup Constituency, Lalaji R. Mendon was the chief guest at the tournament. Other dignitaries included Yashpal Suvarna, Sreessha Nayak, Subhaschandra Hegde, Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Devdas Hebbar, Sudhakar Poojary, Mrs. Sandhya M. Shetty, Mrs. Ranjani Hegde, Shivaji Suvarna, Mrs. Sujatha Suvarna, Benedict D’Souza, Raviraj, Santosh Kumar Moodubelle, Santosh Kulal, Ganesh Nayak, Mrs. Mary D’Souza, Gururaj Bhat, Sandeep Shetty Edmeru and others.

 

The organizer of the Cricket Tournament Sandeep Shetty Edmeru welcomed the guests.

 

Mattar Ratnakar Hegde inaugurated the tournament and spoke on this occasion.

 

 

Sudhakar Poojary, President of Belle Grama Panchayat distributed financial aid for medical expenses to needy persons. These persons included: Harish Shetty Edmeru, Ganapa Madival, Late Ramesh Poojary and Sudeep Shetty. The financial help for medical purpose to these four needy persons amounted to Rs. 1,20,000/-, that is Rs.30,000/- to each of the needy persons.

 

In his message, Lalaji R. Mendon, MLA of Kaup Constituency complimented Edmerda Javaner for organizing the Dhoomavati Cricket Tournament to provide medical assistance to needy persons, thus, fulfilling an important social service activity.

 

Umesh Mallibettu proposed the vote of thanks. Kiran Shetty Edmeru compeered the programme.
