Reception Committee presents invite to Muddu Moodubelle, chairman of Kaup taluk Kannada Sahitya Samm

Udupi, 14 Dec: At the backdrop of Muddu Moodubelle, a multi-faceted personality was selected as chairman of first ever Kaup taluk Kannada Sahitya Sammelan that will be held at Suryachaitanya Global Academy, Kutyar, near Shirva, here on December 20; Ka Sa Pa of Udupi district, Ka Sa Pa Kaup taluk unit and Sammelan reception Committee met Muddu Moodubelle at his residence in Moodubelle, near here, on Wednesday, December 12, and presented the official invite. 

 

Kaup taluk Ka Sa Pa unit president B Pundalika Marate welcomed the gathering.

 

 

In his preliminary address, Udupi district Ka Sa Pa president Nilavara Surendra Adiga said, ‘The first ever Kaup taluk Kannada Sahitya Sammelan will create history by laying emphasis on rich tradition and culture of Kannada.’

 

Ka Sa Pa Udupi district honorary secretary Subramanya Shetty congratulated Muddu Moodubelle on the occasion.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Muddu Moodubelle thanked the organizing Committee for choosing him as chairman of Sammelan, in recognition of his 4 decades of contributions to Kannada and Tulu.

 

The Sammelan honorary secretary Kutyar Prasad Shetty, Sammelan Committee vice president Kattingeri Devdas Hebbar, Ka Sa Pa Kaup taluk unit treasurer S S Prasad Bantakal, members Harish Katpady and Krishna Kumar Mattu, advisory Committee member Padmanabha Nayak Belle, TP member Sujata Suvarna, Muddu Moodubelle’s sister Girija, Christine Fernandes Belle and Anil Alva were present.
