Udupi/M’Belle: St. Thomas II Ward celebrates feast of Patron Saint

Udupi/M’Belle, 01 Jul 2018: St. Thomas II Ward members celebrated the feast of their Patron Saint on Sunday, 1 July 2018 with Holy Mass in the church at 7.30 am and thereafter get-together at the residence of Ignatius Monis. The actual feast of St. Thomas falls on 3 July 2018.

 

Fr. Lawrence Cutinha-Asssitant Parish Priest of Moodubelle along with Vincent Fernandes-Vice President  of Parish pastoral Council were present for the celebration of the Ward feast.

 

On this occasion, Denis Castelino, Mrs. Eveline Monis and other members of the Ward who celebrate their birthdays in the month of July cut the cake.

 

 

Fr. Lawrence Cutinha and Vincent Fernandes in their messages conveyed the greetings to the Ward members on the occasion of the feast of their Patron Saint.

 

Children of the Ward presented two group dances. All the children who were present were given gifts.

 

Ashwitha, representative of the Ward read the annual report.

 

Robert D’Souza, Gurkar of the Ward welcomed the gathering. Ignatius Monis compeered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.

 

The celebration of the Ward Feast culminated  with community meal.
