Karkala: Endosulfan victim’s family boycotts upcoming Karnataka assembly elections

Karkala, 27 Apr 2018: A family of a son who is a victim of endosulfan in Mundkoor, near here, has boycotted the upcoming Karnataka legislative assembly elections, over the apathy of elected representatives in addressing the issue.

 

 

Charles D’Mello family of endosulfan victim Kelvin, who is crawling because of severity boycotting the upcoming elections seeking special package to all endosulfan affected in Karnataka by displaying a banner in front of their house.

 

Kelvin is dependent on his parents for everything. Its after many follow ups with Karkala Tahsildar, state authorities a monthly pension of Rs 3,000 since 2016. The family try to draw the attention of authorities and peoples representatives towards their plight by displaying the banner boycotting the vote.
