Mangaluru: Various competitions organized for students as part of National Voters Day

Mangaluru, 18 Jan 2018: District level competitions were held for schools and college students, here, on Wednesday, January 17, as part of National Voters Day to be celebrated on January 25.

 

The National Voters Day will be observed to motivate youth to register their names in voters list and to make them involved in voting.

 

 

The competition on creating posters, collage and elocution was organized for the students of schools and colleges.

 

The competitions for high school students was held at Government Women’s PU College, Balmatta, here, for PU students at Madhusudan Kushe PU College, Attavar, here and for degree students at Government First Grade College, Car Street, here.

 

The district level winners will competition in state level competitions. DK district SWEEP Committed president ZP CEO M R Ravi is overseeing the programme. The public instructions department, PU education department and collegiate education jointly organized these competitions.
