Karkala: Shravan Shetty, Class V student of Maharashtra to represent India in Sri Lanka

Karkala, 02 Dec 2018: Shravan Shetty, a resident of Thane, Maharashtra was chosen to represent Indian cricket team of under 12 years.

 

He has already travelled to Sri Lanka to represent India in under 12 years cricket tournament that will be held at Sri Lankan from December 30 to January 5, 2018. The cricket teams from West Indies, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka will take part in the matches.

 

 

Shravan is studying in Class V at Orchid International School, Thane. He is being trained by Thane-based Raj Cricket Academy coach Bala Shetty since the past 5 years. He bagged Man of the Match many times and Best Bowler twice in league matches held in Maharashtra. 

 

He is also coached by Team India’s captain Virat Kohli. He bagged several medals in sports meet held at his school.

 

He is the son of Ganesh Shetty and Prabhavati Shetty couple, hailing from Karkala in Udupi district.
