Mangaluru: RTO cautions drivers against stopping buses anywhere on roads

Mangaluru, 08 Aug 2017: The city bus drivers had to stop their buses in the authorized bus stops only to allow the passengers to alight and board. They are barred from stopping anywhere on the road to do so because it would pose hindrance to other motorists and also causes accidents. If the driver stops the bus in the middle of the bus, his driving license will be cancelled.

 

The bus drivers and conductors got to wear uniforms without fail. The passengers need to board and alight the buses on at the designated bus stops and at any circumstances board or alight from a moving bus, stated the media communiqué issued by RTA.
