Bantwal: Cong activists celebrate victory of bypolls in Nanjangudu & Gundlupete

Bantwal, 15 Apr 2017: The Congress activists led by ZP former member Ummer Farouq celebrated the victory of Congress party in the recently held bypolls at Nanjanagudu and Gundlupete, at Farangipet Junction, on Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 66, here on Friday, April 14.
Addressing the gathering, Farouq said that the voters of both constituencies chosen Congress because of the pro-people programmes implemented by CM Siddaramaiah-led state administration. It would be an indicator for Congress to get majority in coming assembly elections.
He also said, the local MLA and state food minister U T Khader had taken the responsibilities of campaigning for bypolls whose heavy campaigning resulted in the victory of Congress.
Pudu gram panchayat vice president Hashir Perimar, member Ramlan, Latif, Faizal, Zaheer, S A Abbas Ammemar, TP former member Asif Iqbal, Imtiyaz Thumbay, Rafiq Perimar, Majeed Farangipet, Ahmed, Imtiyaz Hattanemailu and others were present.
