Udupi: Vishwasadamane reunites Bihari destitute youngster with family

Udupi, 11 Apr 2017: Vishwasadamane, rehabilitation centre for orphans, Shankerpura, near here reunited a destitute youngster, hailing from Bihar, with his family, on Sunday, April 9.
Pastor Sunil D’Souza, chief functionary of Vishwasadamane picked up Bihari youngster Raman Kumar who was found in rags with a sack wondering along Brahmavar – Mabukula highway on March 24, 2016.
The staff at Vishwasadamane bathed him and offered clean clothes to wear, fed him from time to time. He was tested by the psychiatrist who prescribed medical treatment for his mental ailment. With the tender care of staff and medication, he recovered his wellbeing and gave his home address. Once he regained his health, he began to help the staff to trim the garden and was good at other chores at the facility.
The staff wrote a letter to his family in Bihar and within a few days they received a letter expressing their desire to come at the facility to take him back home.
Raman was gone missing on December 15, 2015. We lodged complaint with police and we distributed handbills with his picture everywhere, but it was of no use. We were overjoyed to take home our long lost son whom we believed dead already. We thank the media, Bihar SP Mukhesh and the staff at Vishwasadamane.
