Dist Admin takes steps for smooth conducting of PUC, SSLC exams
Mangaluru, 03 Mar 2017: With just a few days before the commencement of the second Pre-University and SSLC examinations, the District Administration is taking steps to see that the exams were conducted smoothly.
It is learnt that the question papers would be dispatched to the respective examination centers from the district treasury on the examination day. Further, only 30 students will be allowed to answer the exams per hall.
Reviewing preparations for second PUC exams in the district on Thursday, Deputy Commissioner Dr K G Jagadeesha said that examination hall supervisors would be decided by drawing lots. Further, subject teachers would not have duty the day their respective subjects are held.
Sources say that as many as 38,607 students from 198 colleges will answer the second PUC exams scheduled to be held from March 9 to 27 at 52 centers.
The SSLC exams are scheduled to be held from March 30 to April 13. 33,518 students from 500 schools will answer the exam in 91 centers.
Sources have said that students will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 9.30 am.
