Udupi: Rotary Club serves as platform for humanitarian deeds – Dr N S Shetty

Udupi, 22 Feb 2017: Rotary Club International (RCI) has plenty of opportunities to serve the humanity, while all members share comradeship regardless of status in society, said Rotary Club – Shirva former president NRI veteran medical practitioner Dr N S Shetty.
Dr Shetty was speaking during Rotary get-together that was organized at his residence, Abettuguttu, Heroor, near Bantakal, here on Sunday, February 19 evening.
He also shared his association with Rotary Club – Shirva after his 40-years of medical career in US. He was felicitated on his 80th birthday on the same occasion.
AIR – Mangaluru station senior folklore artiste Shankardas presented folklore to greet Dr Shetty.
The elder Kishore Shetty was present at the dais.
Rotary Club – Shirva president Dr Arun Hegde welcomed the gathering and presided the function. Rachita Patkar rendered the prayers. K R Patkar compered the programme.
