Beltangady, 25 Dec 2016: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade urged all worship centers: temples, churches, mosques and spirit appeasement venues across Karnataka to clean the inner and outer premises clean to maintain sanctity by January 13, 2017.

Addressing media persons after viewing the bathing points on Netravati River at Dharmasthala, near here on Saturday, December 24, Heggade said the pilgrims need to be sensitized to maintain cleanliness at worship centers as holding nuptials, messing kumkum, turmeric and prasadam on the floor creates unhygienic environment causing inconvenience to other pilgrims, said Heggade.

He advised the worship centers to put up signboards to maintain cleanliness, construct toilets, place garbage bins and provide parking lots for vehicles.
