Bantwal: Inter-city bus collides with truck; one injured

Bantwal, 14 Dec 2016: A private bus collided with a truck and rammed roadside petty shop at Mani Junction, Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 66, here on Tuesday, December 12 early morning.

 

 

As a result, a passenger who is identified as 34-year-old Ramakrishna, a resident of Ilantila, in Beltangady taluk was injured and admitted in a private hospital at Puttur town.

 

The bus driver was aghast when a truck parked at Mani Junction suddenly reversed without any indication that caused the mishap. The bus hit the truck and ransacked the petty shop and stopped hitting a tree.

 

The petty shop was run by a certain Yacoub who is serving tea to motorists from 2.00am to 7.00am, fortunately, he ad closed the shop gone home just before 10 minutes of incident.
