Workshop on preparing for exams held at Hindu PU College, Shirva

Udupi, 11 Dec 2016: The students who study consistently with clear goal are likely to memorize the topic. Every student has good memory, but if one reads with keen interest; it’s likely to retain in ones mind. Instead of studying for 2 to 3 hours at a stretch, one can study for 1 hour and take a break to remain in memory. It would also improve self-confidence to face the exams, said Dr Soujanya, psychiatrist of A V Baliga Hospital, here.
Dr Soujanya was the resource person speaking on teenage issues and info on facing exams at Hindu PU College, Shirva, here on Saturday, December 10.
She explained with examples the tragedies of students when they acted against the will of parents/elders and teachers.
She also listened to the queries of students and offered her expert advices.
Vidyavardaka Sangha administrator Professor Y Bhaskar Shetty, in his presidential address said that there is no shortcut to success. If one puts on hard work follows the guidelines of parents/elders and teachers, said Professor Shetty.
The headmaster Gopalakrishna Rao welcomed the gathering. The teacher Chaitra introduced the resource person. The designated principal Devendra Hegde proposed vote of thanks. The lecturer Roopa compered the programme.
