Rotary Zone 5 Sports Meet of RCI district 3180 inaugurated

Udupi, 08 Nov 2016: The sports meet of Rotary Club International (RCI) district 3180 zone 5 that was organized by Rotary Club – Shankerpura was held at St John’s High School grounds, Shankerpura, near here on Sunday, November 6.

 

Shankerpura – Pangla parish priest Fr Dr Leslie D’Souza inaugurated the sports meet here on Sunday morning.

 

 

Rotary Club – Shankerpura president Anil D’Sa presided the programme and welcomed the gathering.

 

The zonal assistant governor Dr Gururaj delivered the preliminary address. 

 

The zonal sports director Navin Amin Shankerpura compered the programme. The secretary Naveen Barboza proposed the vote of thanks.

 

Rotary district sports Committee president Allen Lewis, zonal commandant Srinivas Rao Kaup, Vincent D’Souza, and office bearers of Committee were present.

 

Over 100 representatives of 8 Rotary Club of zone partaken in volleyball, throw ball, cricket, shuttle badminton and athletics.
