Locals catch python attempted to prey on boy in Sajipa

Bantwal, 20 Oct 2016: A python that tried to prey on a boy in Sajipa village, near here but retreated after the boy hit it to save himself 2 weeks ago was caught by the locals. The same python was found at Kolake in Sajipa village on Wednesday October 19 evening, thereby the locals were relieved of fear that they had undergone aftermath of python attack 2 weeks ago. The locals Jagdish Kudoor, Balakrishna and Sattar who have caught the python were admitted at Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay, near here for bytes.
Jagdish Kudoor is the relative of Vaishak, who survived being preyed upon by the python earlier, was on his way to attend house warming function nearby cited it on Wednesday, October 19 at 7.00pm. He tried to catch the python using mat of his auto rickshaw to cover his hands, but the agitated python hit his head. Balakrishna and Sattar who were walking at a distance rushed and together managed to catch the python. The hundreds of people gathered at the spot took pics. The forest mobile squad and police have arrived at the spot and taken the python to Pilikula Nisargadhama.
Eleven-year-old Vaishak saved himself from being swallowed upon by the python on October 4 and was treated in a hospital for 2 days. The people feared more when the same python was cited when Vaishak returned from hospital. However, the people who were fearing since 2 weeks and are afraid to venture out are relieved and go back to their usual life.
