MLA Lobo urges state admin to organize Investors Meet in November 2016

Mangaluru, 18 Oct 2016: MLA J R Lobo advised to organize Investors Meet in city during November 2016.
MLA Lobo advised during the meeting chaired by DC K G Jagdish, here on Monday, October 17. He urged the state ministers of information technology/biotechnology and top level government officers to attend the Investors Meet that got to be attended by at least 20 to 25 MNCs.
He further explained the investors take queues of Bengaluru instead of Mangaluru during the convention that should not happen. Mangaluru has all infrastructural facility, while Bengaluru has reached saturation point, despite this, investors keen on investing in Bengaluru, explained MLA Lobo.
‘The investors should be convinced the benefits of opting for Mangaluru to invest because it’s the gateway of Karnataka with air, rail, port and road network,’ added MLA Lobo.
DC Jagdish emphasized the need to make a documentary of 15 to 20 minutes about the infra facilities that Mangaluru offers for the investors to start their businesses. He also said to convene second meeting in Bengaluru with MLA Lobo and respective ministers.
The municipal commissioner Mohammed Nazir, MUDA commissioner Srikant and top officers were present.
