Reading dailies for half-an-hour enhances GK - Marate

Udupi, 07 Oct 2016: The valedictory of Udupi taluk science quiz that was organized by science department of Hindu PU College, Shirva, here was held on Thursday, October 6.

 

Rotary International district 3182 – Rotary India Literacy Mission vice chairman B Pundalika Marate was the chief guest after distributing the prizes and certificates to the winners, appealed the students to make it a habit to read daily newspapers for half-an-hour to enhance general knowledge.

 

 

Vidyavardaka Sangh administrator Professor Y Bhaskar Shetty presided the programme.

 

The High School senior teacher Shakila and quiz co-ordinator Sadashiva Rao, quiz master Soumya and Sukanya were present.

 

Hindu PU College principal Sundar Mera welcomed the gathering. The lecturer Soumya proposed vote of thanks. Laxmiprakash compered the programme.
