Mangaluru: Muslim Central Committee pleas adequate security for Bakrid celebration

Mangaluru, 09 Sep 2016: The delegation of Muslim Central Committee of DK and Udupi districts, led by its president K S Mohammed Masood, here on Thursday September 8, presented a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner, Western Range IGP, DK Superintendent of Police, City Police Commissioner, to provide adequate police protection in the communally-sensitive localities as a precautionary measure in order to avoid any untoward incidents occurring during the upcoming Bakrid celebration on Thursday September 12, followed by 3 days to offer sacrifice as per Islam.
