Moodubelle:Late Gregory Alva (80) laid to rest

Moodubelle, 06 August 2010: Late Greogory Alva (80), father of Bellevision-UAE President, Valerian Alva who had expired on Wednesday, 4 August 2010 was laid to rest on Friday, 6 August 2010 at around 5.30 pm besides the grave of his wife late Angeline Alva who had passed away on 3 March 2010.

The funeral cortege of late Gregory Alva left his home from Kattingeri at 3.30 pm. The Requiem Mass was offered by Fr. Vasant, the cousin of late Gregory Alva who had come from Allahabad along with Fr. Paul Sequeira and Fr. Maxim Pinto (Cap). Following the Mass, Boniface Barboza(Benny Master) offered Shraddhanjali to late Gregory Alva.

Fr. Paul Sequeira conducted the funeral service and later the mortal remains of late Greogory Alva were laid to rest in the grave next to his late wife Angeline Alva.

Late Gregory Alva was born on 12th January 1931 and was married on 29 May 1954 to late Angeline Alva. Late Greogory Alva is survived by his children: Diana, Sr. Matilda, Louis, Valerian and Lavina.
