Thousands walk to attend proclamation of St Lawrence shrine as Minor Basilica

Karkala, 02 Aug 2016: Thousands of faithful from Belman, Shirva, Kedinje, Nitte and other areas walked several miles to St Lawrence shrine, Attur, near here on Monday August 1, to attend the historical event of proclamation and dedication of shrine as Minor Basilica by Vatican authorities.
