MP Kateel warns of DK bandh if guilty in DySP’s suicide are not arrested

 

Mangaluru, 09 Jul 2016: All those who were named by DySP Ganapthy in his death note as well as in the electronic media have to be arrested soon or else a Dakshina Kannada bandh would be called, warned MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on Friday.

 

He added that they would wait for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s statement on the issue in the Assembly and if it was not satisfactory, a DK bandh would be called.

 

 

Addressing the media on Friday, MP Kateel said that all officials in the Congress government were under the government’s thumb and were under severe pressure. He questioned that if a police did not feel safe what about the common man.

 

He added that if justice was not got, the issue would be taken up in the Parliament.

 

Speaking about DySP Ganapathy, MP Kateel said he courageously dealt with criminals; he also recalled the time the DySP dealt with violence during the church attacks in 2008.
