Girl dies after accidentally falling into pond at Moodbidri

Moodbidri, 04 Jul 2016: In yet another tragedy reported, a young girl lost her life after she accidentally fell into a pond at Tenka Mizar in Moodbidri on Sunday.
Vinola Mendonca (24) has taken her cow for grazing. After sometime, she decided to move the cow to another place. However, as she was doing so, the cow started to run. Vinola who was holding the tether refused to let go. However, the tether snapped and she fell into a pond nearby.
Vinola is survived by her father and two sisters.
The police arrived at the spot and conducted investigations.
