Bantwal: Mocking banner surfaces on NH 75, alerting motorists of pool of rain water

Bantwal, 02 Jul 2016: A banner was erected besides Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 75 nearby B A College, Thumbay, here on Friday July 1, alerting the motorists to be cautious as the steep curve on NH is always flooded with rain water during monsoon, threatening the lives of unwary motorists.

 

 

The banner was erected to alert the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) officials to take necessary action for the smooth flow of water by proper drains, in order to save the motorists from breaking limbs and imminent death.

 

The banner alerted the motorists to ‘Move slowly; it’s the swimming pool of No 1 Member of Parliament.’ The motorists were found to click the pics of the banner as its unusual mocking at elected peoples representatives to highlight the shoddy work of highway.
