SPCollege organizes 2-day workshop on social work research statistics

Puttur, 13 May 2016: The post graduation department of social work of St Philomena College, here organized two-day workshop on ‘Social Work Research Statistics using SPSS software’ for MSW students from May 10 to May 11.

 

 

Professor Gokul Mandayam, Professor in School of Social Work, University of Southern California,Los Angeles, USA was the resource person. He shared his expertise with participants by way of classlecture and practical sessions on the concepts such as statistics in social work research, methods to make use of collected data by means of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software, result analysis and interpretation of result.

 

The co-ordinator of post graduation department of Social Work Professor Prasanna Kumar welcomed the gathering. The assistant Professor Fr Prince C P has co-ordinated the workshop.Soumya Bhat proposed the vote of thanks.
