Bantwal, 17 March 2016: CM Siddaramaiah led Congress government in Karnataka ranks third in developments and efficiency, while Gujarat of PM Narendra Modi ranks fifth. All those who criticize Congress government in Karnataka got to understand this, said DK district-in-charge minister Ramanath Rai.
The minister Rai was speaking at the gathering of congratulating all candidates of Congress party who have contested in the recently held ZP and TP elections at a function jointly organized by Bantwal block Congress and Panemangaluru block Congress at Narayana Guru auditorium, B C Road, here on Wednesday March 16.
Congress has secured more votes in the recently held ZP and TP elections that proves the voters preference, said minister Rai. It’s significant that the state government has waived the loans to the tune of Rs 40 crore, added minister Rai. He alleged that BJP is dissuading the people with false accusations.
MUDA president Ibrahim Kodijal, Dakshina Kannada district Congress vice president B H Khader, BUDA president Pius L Rodrigues, ZP members Chandraprakash Shetty, Shahul Hameed, Mamata Gatti, M S Mohammed, Manjula Madhav Mave, Padmashekar Jain, Bantwal town councilor Ramakrishna Alva, deputy councilor Mohammed Nandarabettu, past councilor Vasanti Chandappa, Congress leaders Sudarshan Jain, Padmanabha Rai, Rajashekar Naik, Janardhan Chendtimar, block Congress presidents Mayilappa Salian, Abbas Ali, Chandrahas Karkera and others were present at the dais.
