Bantwal: Students stage street play to sensitize people on unhealthy junk food

Bantwal, 13 March 2016: The students of SVS English Medium School, here staged a street play to sensitize people on perils of junk food and health benefits of traditional food consumed by ancestors in erstwhile Tulunadu, at Melkar junction, near here on Saturday March 12.
The addiction for junk food and snacks among the children was depicted by the street play and setting the alternative of traditional foods.
The students Sudhiksha, Shreya, Srujana, Glenisha, Vidharti, Damodar, Vishwas, Pratamesh, Shravan, Gowrish and Kusha were cast in the street play, with the playback music by Srivatsa and Sahir. The school teachers Ramya, Anita, Namrata and Sushma mentored the students for the show.
